2H Unholy OB Build

Heya guys!!  So last night I got to test out the 2H Unholy OB build a lil bit.  Basically Razorscale and like 2 attempts on Ignis.  The server lag was so bad that when Ignis would shoot people in air, nothing happened.  Then like 20 seconds later people would randomly shoot skyward while Ignis did the crazy lag dance running through fire while ignoring the tank…  >.<

Needless to say our officers called the raid, but I did get these 2 SS’s over my overall dmg for Razorscale, 2 trash mobs, and 2 attempts on Ignis before the lag defeated us.  The spec I ran with for the evening was: 0/17/54  The main reason I dropped 1 point into IUP is because I didn’t want to re-enchant my boots.  That would normally be an inefficient point expenditure.

So as you can see here Death Coil was the number one source of my overall damage at 21.5%.  While OB was 17.7% and White Melee 17.3%.  And as a side note UB did 2.8% of my overall damage.

  • DC dmg: 1015182
  • UB dmg: 133509
  • 20% of DC dmg: 203036

So UB did roughly 65% of the dmg it should have done.  So a lot of the ticks were lost on trash mobs is all that I can assume unless there is a part of the formula for determining UB dmg we don’t know about yet.  I’ll look into it.

Overall the spec was pretty damn fun honestly.  It’s much tighter on GCD’s than Unholy is with SS, but the RP generation is insane.  Non-stop DC’s, plus seeing some of them crit for 11k dmg is just plain crazy!!!  It won’t last, but it’s fun to play with for now!  ;)

Heya guys!! Site Update

Heya guys!! :D   You have *NO* idea how relieved and happy I am atm.  The past 48 hours have been a living hell honestly.  I’m not a web savvy individual.  Mostly what you see on the site has taken a monumental amount of effort on my part to make it work.  Which to someone else, like Creep, would take all of 5 minutes.  >.< 

Now write a break down on specs, talents, dps, etc.  That’s me!!  Fixing server, ISP, PHP, HTML issues…might as well slap a dunce cap on my head and show me to the corner.

The long story short basically came down to my ISP server settings were denying permissions to everything.  Because of that, and the resultant conflicts, my website crapped itself. 

I was trying to set up a cache to stop as much access to the database my website was on (my ISP was not expecting the surge of traffic), but because the plugin was being denied permissions it cached the home page as it was on install, and would not let anything else be viewable.

I’ve cancelled my regular plans for Friday evening to open up some extra time for research and posting.  So this weekend should allow me to get some extra stuff up for everyone to read.  Later I will be putting a post up about some of the testing I did with the new OB Unholy build as well.  I also plan to look up some of the new DW numbers and see how it’s performance is holding up.

Also the comments on the spec page have been massive so I will likely do a post shortly to answer a lot of the questions pending there.
