WOW…I have tried the standard UH spec and I have tried the diseaseless blood spec….they were ok….but HOLY CRAP….21/50/0 frost spec is crazy damage. Found my new spec until the patch changes everything.

Can some1 pls explain why u would take DRM with this spec? Oblit uses 1frost 1unholy, HS uses 1 blood rune, and u almost never use DStrike, so why spend 3 points on DRM? vs a 4600heal? am i missing something?

Also, for Runemaster and those who are worried about getting overall damage done for the entire raid…you or your guild needs to set up WWS.

Once the raid is done there is an option to see DPS and Damage Done for “All Bosses.” It completely cuts out the trash damage and DPS. All that should matter to you at this point in the game is DPS/Damage Done on Bosses.

(DPS is also a bit pointless IMO. Mages have to do a lot of replen sometimes…which makes there DPS a bit higher. If you look at WWS a lot of classes will have higher DPS than you…but you could very easily top them on damage done.)

Heya SJ,

Been reading your posts for a while now. Unfortunately I found out about your page late and had to spend HOURS reading EVERYTHING. Time well spent.

Anyhow, I’ve been Unholy since I made my DK. Tried out Frost DW and didn’t like it much. Never tried Blood….until I saw the disease-less spec…

Not having to replenish diseases, after being Unholy for so long, sounded AMAZING! /yay

So, I tried it out. I managed 4004 DPS and top overall damage done on Patchy Pants. Mind you, this was on a 10 man on horde side….so no H. Presence.

Anyhow, just thought I’d share this info with all my fellow Unholys out there. Blood Disease-less is super. So I’m officially Blood….er…well at least until our gargoyles get buffed again.

I’m in the same boat as the last couple. I have around 375 hit rating and just under 2900 AP as duel wield. I have mostly expertise gems in my gear for the cap which didn’t leave much room for +str. Wondering if it would help to cut some hit. Then again I have about 28% crit unbuffed so its a gear stat ratio problem too.

Also I tried the decease-less blood spec yesterday. Was putting out around 3k dps on boss heroic boss fights. Finished at about 2.3k overall. I’m hit and exp capped with 4.1k AP and 32% crit self buffed. I liked it a lot

Hey SJ, Now that you have two mean slicers to test out dual wield, would you be able to see at what point strength would be more important than more hit rating. Right now I have 391 hit rating but only 890 str/2700 atkp. Im not the number crunching genious that could tell you that at X amount of hit for dual wield strength should be your priority.

That sucks to hear about the Immortal achievement….some guild on my server was able to attain it and got their black proto drakes this weekend…needless to say, they got hackled at…..

you guys will get it next time!….no deaths until Sapph is pretty damn impressive….

but one question on the blood spec, would it not be plausible to try it until you get the Sigil of Awareness?
