Heya guys!!  So eventually over time as you learn more and more about your class you come to find out you were wrong about things you thought that you understood.  Today is one of those moments for me.

My guild occasionally makes jokes about me because I insist on knowing when Heroism is going to be cast.  I make the shaman call it out in Vent 5 seconds before he drops it to ensure that I get the buff on my Gargoyle.  It’s a massive DPS boots to get Heroism on your Gargoyle.  Only, I’ve never been getting the buff on my Garg.  I’ve been missing it every single time for the past 2-3 weeks now ar least…  >.<

As it turns out your Gargoyle gets its stats based off of your current AP.  I knew that, and I’ve told everyone that.  But I never imagined that this covered Heroism as well.  If you cast Gargoyle while you currently have Heroism on you, then the Gargoyle will get Heroism.  If you cast Gargoyle, and then Heroism is cast after it is summoned, then he does not get Heroism.

So time for me to say it…

D’OH!!!!!!!

/sigh  Ah well, even SJ makes mistakes people.  So the killer part here is that you could only have 10 seconds left on Heroism, but if you summon your Gargoyle it will get the Heroism buff for it’s entire duration.  Neat stuff.
