Heya guys!! So…sometimes we get questions that even surprise us. Bonechewer is sitting here and scratching his butt (they poop brains ya know…) trying to figure this one out still. First I would like to see that your WoW information was very useful. I have been playing the game for awhile and it is always helpful to have a better understanding of anything you put time into. I knnow you are very busy and the question I have isn’t to difficult. I am specing to be a holy pally and I have been using the blizzard talent tree to optimize my healer. In the holy spec of the tree, there are 2 talents that increase your criticals. One is HOLY POWER (which increases the critical effect chance or your holy spells) and the other is SANCTIFIED LIGHT (which increases the critical effect chance of your holy light and holy shock spells. However, ther are 2 talents in Retribution worth mentioning. SANCTIFIED SEALS and CONVICTION both increase your chance to get a critical strike/hit with all spells and attacks. My question is this: Does the SANCTIFIED SEALS and CONVICTION apply to healing spells and stack on top of the HOLY POWER and SANCTIFIED LIGHT talent? I only ask, because SANCTIFIED SEALS and CONVICTION are in the retribution spec and not the holy spec. I thank you for your time and I hope you can answer my question.

First off may I recommend http://talent.mmo-champion.com/ for all of your talent calculator needs? While I do personally prefer to use the http://www.wowhead.com/?talent one from WoW Head, the MMO on also lets you select your Glyphs and is quite often updated to PTR information. The official WoW Talent Calc isn’t usually kept as up to date and can take longer to load at times.
Sanctified Seals and Conviction both increase your chance to get a critical with any of your spells. Please note that they in no way affect your “to hit” chance as your E-mail may have implied. I’m not sure if you thought that, or if you just worded the sentence oddly. Many classes, paladins included, have talents in the “wrong tree” so to speak that in fact buff the roles covered by other trees. For example Elemental Shaman can get a talent from Enhancement that will boost their Elemental Spells.
So in short, yes. These two talents will help you get crits on your healing spells, and yes they will stack.
